Peter Stampfel is an American fiddle player, violinist and singer who has worked with several musical projects such as Bongwater. He and his band The Bottlecaps performed a bluegrass cover of "Ouch!" with largely modified lyrics, released on the 1993 tribute album Rutles Highway Revisited. Many Rutle fans hate this version.
