Revelation 13 is a recorded composition that appeared on the Rutles' Triangular Album. The sound collage, credited to Nasty-McQuickly, was created primarily by Ron Nasty with assistance from Stig O'Hara and Chastity Hitler. Nasty said he was trying to paint a picture of a revolution using sound. It features numerous overdubbed vocals, speech, sound effects, and short tape loops of speech and musical performances, some of which were reversed. These were further manipulated with echo, distortion, stereo panning, and fading. At 6 hours long, it is the second longest song The Rutles ever did, after Hey Dude.
Revelation 13 has left Rutles fans with a wide range of opinions. Some like it, thinking it was a creative concept, while others hated it and thought it was a complete waste of time.
